These Terms and Conditions govern your use of seniorsmartphonesquad.org, operated by Tiffany Bellah under the program name Senior Smartphone Squad, our classes and events, and our text messaging program. By using our website or joining our text messaging program, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

What we do

Senior Smartphone Squad is a program operated by Tiffany Bellah. We provide free and low-cost smartphone education for older adults, including in-person sessions, video lessons, printed guides, and text-based tips and support.

Text messaging program terms

Consent

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you agree to receive text messages from Senior Smartphone Squad at that number. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving any class, service, or purchase from us. You confirm that you are the account holder for the number you provide, or that you have permission from the account holder.

What you will receive

Messages include smartphone tips, class and event reminders and confirmations, and replies to questions you send us. Message frequency varies, and you will receive up to approximately 4 messages per month.

Cost

We do not charge for text messages. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan. Contact your wireless provider with questions about your plan.

Opting out

You may cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message. We will send one confirmation message and then stop sending messages to that number. To rejoin, sign up again through our website or by texting our number.

Reply HELP to any message for information, or contact us using the details at the bottom of this page.

Delivery and carriers

Message delivery depends on your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers may change without notice.

Changing your number

If you change or give up your mobile number, please tell us so we do not send messages to a number that is no longer yours.

Privacy

Your mobile number and SMS consent information are handled as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not share, sell, or transfer mobile phone numbers or SMS consent to third parties for marketing purposes.

Using our website and materials

Our lessons, guides, videos, and written materials are provided for personal, non-commercial use. You are welcome to print or share them with someone you are helping. Please do not resell them or republish them as your own.

You agree not to use our website or messaging program to send unlawful, abusive, or deceptive content, or to attempt to interfere with their operation.

Educational content, not professional advice

Our content is general smartphone education. Device settings and app behavior change often and vary by phone, carrier, and software version. We do our best to keep guidance accurate, but we cannot guarantee that every step will match your device. We are not responsible for changes you make to your device or accounts, and we do not provide legal, financial, or medical advice.

We will never ask you for passwords, account recovery codes, banking details, or payment card numbers by text message. If you receive a message claiming to be from us and asking for any of these, do not reply — contact us directly using the information below.
